How does a solar cover work?
Swimming pools lose up to 90 percent of their heat at the surface. The sun provides plenty of warmth and energy throughout the day, but typically all of that heat is lost due to evaporation. A solar cover traps the heat from the sun in its bubbles and prevents it from being lost, while at the same time, prevents evaporation. This allows the heat to accumulate throughout the entire depth of the pool and can raise the temperature of the pool as much as 15 degrees.
